I was 26 and a new mum when my brother took his own life.  Heartwrenching as it was, it was a life defining moment for me in many different ways.  Grief had now become a part of me forever.

Life’s priorities readjusted forever more and my spiritual awakening dropped in as my Soul sought to heal.

It was March 1996, nearly a year after my brother’s death that I read The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield to find that life would never be the same.  Before this time, I really had no concept of what the term Spirituality meant and I certainly had no idea that I was capable of Mediumship.  Yet here I sit, twenty five years later coming to you as someone extremely proficient in communicating with Spirit and with a wealth of knowledge and spiritual understanding that needs to be shared so people like you can come to understand what your Soul is truly capable of.

Prior to my spiritual awakening I had no recognisable psychic talent.  I didn’t see dead people as a child and nor did I make psychic premonitions.  Geez, I didn’t even know I had a Soul.  Having been brought up loosely as a Catholic with a deeply religious Grandmother, I did believe in God.  However, after a minute as a born-again Christian at 18 I felt that the Christian concepts lacked in a lot of ways for me.

It wasn’t until I read the Celestine Prophecy that something ignited the truth of my Soul.

Discovering my inner world

As I began walking the path of meditation groups, spiritual churches and connecting with Spirit guides I began to discover my inner world.  A world where I was passionate about Spirit and eager to understand as much as I could about living with guidance, intuition and develop psychic abilities.

I had found that my grief had awakened a need to help others with what I had gone through.  At the time there was only one suicide survivors support group in all of Sydney and that was on the other side of the city.

In coming to develop a relationship with Spirit, I found solace.  A peace that I could only obtain from my personal relationship with God or if you prefer Great Spirit.  Therefore, right from the beginning I understood that my connection to Spirit was about me and what I needed.  Yes, I had a desire to help others with my evolving psychic abilities, this was however secondary to my own need for peace and harmony with life.

It would take many years before I would understand the truth that lies in that statement.  That it really was my own need for spiritual harmony that would cause the Soul to seek the path of mediumship it has.

You see, I believe that every Soul is capable of Mediumship and communicating with Spirit, yet not everyone will feel the call to do so.  This call from within your Soul is an expression of the Soul’s need for healing and purpose.  And true healing can only come from understanding the truth of who you are.  That you are Spirit first and human second.

It has been my mediumship ability that has allowed me to understand this about myself, while helping me to navigate the challenges of what it is to be human. 

In working with the Soul’s of others and opening myself up to the mechanics of the Soul and how we are a part of all creation (I am Sagittarius after all!), I have come to learn that we do create our realities and that Mediumship can provide us with the tool to understand the spiritual reality of manifesting.  It’s like the behind the scenes access to what’s really going on with your manifesting.

Knowing that everything you experience is leading you to wholeness has a sense of peace that underlies it all even in the darkest days.

you are spirit first!

My Mediumship and connection to Spirit has provided a great deal of comfort as I’ve navigated the ups and downs of divorce, a great deal more loss and establishing a new life with my twin soul.  It is in these difficult times that I never have any doubt as to what is right for me.  Like you, I have no control over the outcomes, but unlike most people I do have the capacity to know some of what is before me which helps to prepare with awareness.

It was nearly two years ago, I heard Spirit say “You are going to walk through a ring of fire.  What we want you to know though is that all of your dreams are on the other side.”

That ring of fire turned out to be the journey associated with losing my former husband, the father of my children.  It has been a long two years of a dark night of the Soul where those words from Spirit have undoubtedly helped me to keep going and not walk away from my biz or my mediumship as I’ve wanted to soo many times and give up the challenge of healing.

Yet there is something deep within my Soul that knows we are more than living a life of existence.  My Soul knows that we come to life as the deepest expression of LOVE there is.  I know that when you feel the call of Mediumship that LOVE is what is calling you forward and seeking to be expressed through you.  And I know that once you truly know this, you can never turn away from it again.  Well, at least I can’t.

I am yet to begin realising my dreams as Spirit said, though I do know they are coming and I am beginning to see the first signs of change heralding this new dawn.  While my dreams may show up and not look as I would expect, I know they are coming in a way that will inSpire JOY.  And I know this because I am a Medium.
